Our ethos & structure

E2A INCLUSIVE THEATRE GROUP is based in Banbridge and is a registered charity (XT33042) providing training, experience and a social outlet for people of all ages and abilities, with and without a learning disability.

Our membership is approximately 60 people, with 40% having a learning disability, downs syndrome or autism/aspergers. We meet at our theatre space, 69 Newry Street, Babridge every Tuesday.

We believe in showcasing the very best in local talent, on stage, technical, front of house and behind the scenes.

We performed JOSEPH & THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT to full houses and raised £1050 for Banbridge Special Olympics.

We performed JACK & THE BEANSTALK and the opening gala night in aid of the Doghouse Sanctuary raised over £900.

The theatre space operates as a social enterprise providing training and work experience for our members. Apart from productions, we have hosted a monthly indoor car boot sale, monthly comedy club and musical events. This unique and inspiring group is based in Banbridge and has gained recognition in other parts of NI & ROI (even the President of Ireland, Michael D Higgins has been asking!) as well as further afield.

I mention all of this because we are proud of what we have achieved. We encourage Banbridge to get behind a local success story that really can the lives of people involved and people who see our work.

Thank You,

E2A Committee
