A World Record Attempt

The Secret Code, written by Jonathan King and Michael Gatton. The show coincides with the 70th anniversary of the end of World War 2, and is part of a World record attempt for 70 groups performing the same show, on the same date (9th May) at the same time (7.30pm). Groups all over the UK and Ireland have already committed to the production as well as in New Orleans, USA and Saskatchewan in Canada.

The show is great fun, and includes humour, drama and some never heard before songs to tell the story of children from inner city London who are evacuated to Aylesbury. The plot is all about the children uncovering a secret code and thus stopping the German invasion. There are lots of great character parts, from the east end children, to the girls at Aylesbury school, a few Germans, GI Joe and many more. Songs include When Hitler was a Baby, Waiting for the Whistle to Blow, Out of the Blue and They Look Pretty Good to Me.
